ELEXIS project (2018-2022) – European Lexicographic Infrastructure

Dienstag, 18. Juni 2019, 15:00 Uhr, IDS Vortragssaal

Abstract:

In the talk, a Horizon2020-funded infrastructure project will be presented. Special attention will be given to the "dictionary matrix" – the goal of establishing links between key structural elements found in different types of dictionaries: senses, meaning descriptions, etymological data, collocations, phraseology, translation equivalents, examples of usage and all other types of lexical information present in different types of existing lexicographic resources, monolingual, multilingual, modern, historical etc. The second focus of the talk will be community building activities in ELEXIS, as well as sustainability of the infrastructure after the end of the project.
